Peter Fischerström: I look forward to even games in Helsinki!
16.02.2010

I had a quick chat with Peter Fischerström (AIK, Sweden, defender) right after Finland vs. Sweden had ended in a draw 2-2 (Vantaa, 6th of February).
What kind of expectations do you have for the WFC2010 games in Helsinki?
- I expect even games. Sometimes in this sport they can be very un-even, which is a pity. The previous championship tournament you guys organized in Helsinki in 2002 was by far the best one I’ve ever been in, I loved it. The spirit was great and if it’s going to be anything like that this year, it will be fantastic.

Will your training be any different this year compared to previous years?
-To be honest I have no idea about our training yet, this was the second time we’ve met with the team this year.

How would you describe Team Finland, based on your own experiences?
-Finland has a lot of movement and really good forwards. However, they are a bit dependent on these players, for example Rickie Hyvärinen was sick and couldn’t play today.

What is Team Sweden like?
-We control the ball more and spend more time building the attacks. We have to be awake all the time with Finland.
